I've been having trouble reading timing with a gun. Tried PTU loop & coil pack #1 but can't get a light. It's a cheap gun but it works on other cars. Haven't tried a spark plug wire extension between plug & coil pack yet. I talked to a reputable tuner & he said when you splice in connectors to the harness (new style injectors for me), it can cause difficulties reading spark through inductive pickups. Anyone familiar with this? Thoughts? Pointers?
